The main requirement for polycarbonate greenhouses - the presence of good ventilation in hot weather. This is necessary to ensure that the lining does not overheat, as the geometry of the cellular sheets will change under the influence of high temperatures. Deformations occur when the sheet is enlarged, and gaps are formed when their parameters decrease. The optimum air temperature for installation work is + 10 ° C.

Arched shell model

Open-top greenhouse "snails" are common variants for the manufacture of which flexible polycarbonate with hollow cells is necessarily used. This model can be of two types:

The arcs are bent out of the profile pipe by means of a special tool. All prepared elements for the bottom (frame) and the top are joined by welding.   • The remaining space in the trench is covered with gravel and compacted.
